Job Description: Project Technican II

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Technician will leverage their experience to solve problems and troubleshoot in order to move projects forward to completion with minimal supervision, while directing other members of your team. This role is responsible for understanding and anticipating the needs of the installation of materials and equipment to successfully complete a job and exceed the expectations of the client.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  • Maintain a high level of communication, creating relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Lead a team of intermediate and helper technicians to see projects to completion
  • Ensure tasks reach completion, consistently
  • Read and comprehend mechanical, plumbing, and electrical plans
  • Walk each job to create take offs and material lists to properly execute the scope of work
  • Direct other team members from a Lead position on site, and execute direction from management without supervision
  • Anticipate potential worksite challenges, providing solutions to resolve or avoid work delays
  • Exemplify leadership individually, and to the team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
  • 5-7 Year HVAC Experience
  • Trade School (Required)
  • Valid driver’s license, with clean driving record
  • EPA Universal Certification (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, talk, hear, climb, stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Willingness to be on rotational On Call
  • Ability to work overtime (weekends)
  • Requires ability to occasionally lift 50lbs
  • Position may require travel to and from field sites to monitor the status of multiple projects
